About Us

Anita Perera is the founder of Anita Perera Law Professional Corporation. She provides comprehensive legal service in various areas of law, and represents clients across Canada, as well as International clients with her team of specialized associates. Anita graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree LL.B from the University of Colombo Faculty of Law. She practiced as an Attorney-at-Law in Sri Lanka and worked for a leading top reputable law firm in Sri Lanka.

Anita was then determined to further her education in Canada where she graduated with honours upon receiving a Law Clerk Diploma from Humber College. Ms. Anita Perera then attended law school at The University of Western Ontario where she received her Bachelor of Laws Degree LL.B in Canada and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016. She commenced her legal career in Ontario and worked for a well notable law firm, before establishing Anita Perera Law Professional Corporation. Since founding Anita Perera Law Professional Corporation, Anita’s practice has been devoted to services in Real Estate Law, Immigration Law, Family Law, Wills & Estate Law, Notary Public Services, and Small Claims Court matters.

In addition to her academic and legal pursuits, Anita is very devoted and involved in the community as well. She is a host employer for the Peel District School Board’s Co-operative Education Program where she offers co-op positions to high school students. Students gain valuable workplace experience at Anita Perera Law Professional Corporation while earning credits towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Anita is also a host employer for the Humber College Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Placement Program where she offers placements to paralegal students attending Humber College. Anita Perera is very involved in the community and plays an active role in helping students in developing employability skills and experience that will benefit them in their career. Anita is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Bar Association of Sri Lanka, Law Society of Ontario, and the Peel Law Association.
